Abstract

Rationalization is the foundation for increasing labor productivity in the country and a crucial aspect in the development of future engineers. Aim. To analyze the role of rationalization in engineering and education. Novelty. Increasing labor productivity requires the development of mass creativity, coupled with the targeted cultivation of «engineering special forces» and government and business support for small technology companies. The revival of youth creativity traditions requires its support in continuous education through the coordinated (conceptually and organizationally) work of mentors. Involving young people in work and developing the ability to «think with their hands» is reflected in the term «educational and technological sovereignty». Methodology and research methods. Systemic-dialectical, interdisciplinary, normative-historical, activity-based approaches, concepts of «educational education», «public education», «developmental education», developments in theories of inventive problem solving, effective solutions and creative personality development. Results. An understanding of the prospects for developing rationalization to increase labor productivity shows that the «fulcrums» in this regard are linked not only to the legal sphere and the awareness of business leaders of the inevitability of socio-technological change, but also to government support at all levels and business support for youth creativity in the system of continuous education. Developing a mentoring framework for this work requires particular attention.
